Preemptive Mourning - Gallery

I used the tool 'pixsy' to create a series of Bitsy rooms to display my poem 'Preemptive Mourning' alongside artwork ('Hand Me Down' series) by Laura Kemshall. The photograph of the artwork used was taken at the exhibition 'Unraveling History' at the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa.

I have placed my poem,  which is concerned with grief, family generations - chiefly grandparents - and features a theme of textiles throughout alongside this artwork which, when I first saw it, I felt captured a strikingly similiar feeling and intent to what I had when I had written the poem a couple of years before.
